Prof. Muhammad Yunus affirms his honorary presidency for the Global Economic Network

In early 2011 Prof. Dr. Franz Josef Radermacher – president of the Global Economic Network – visited the Peace Nobel Price Winner Prof. Muhammad Yunus in Dhaka, Banglasdesh. Prof. Yunus affirmed his commitment from 2007 to become honorary president of the Global Economic Network.

 

The Global Economic Network sees Prof. Yunus as an outstanding representative of its philosophy and goals and is delighted by his willingness to join the Global Economic Network as honorary president. The goal of the Global Economic Network is the overcoming of the worldwide poverty and therefore supports the concepts of Prof. Yunus as Micro Finance and Social Business. Prof. Yunus gave his active input to the position paper of the Global Economic Network.
